Youtube Video
Before we jump too far into the post I want to mention that there is a corresponding youtube video on the Salesforce Emily youtube channel.
I will embed that here but keep scrolling to get to the good stuff!
Step-by-Step Tutorial
The first thing you’ll need to do is head to setup in the top right corner of your salesforce org.
Then once in setup go to quick find and search for “path settings”.
Double click.
One in paths go ahead and read over the disclosures if you need to, but if not click “new path”
The first step you’ll need to do is add the metadata.
This includes the path name, API name, object, record type, and picklists.
Next, you’ll need to add fields and steps.
This makes the path come alive!
You’ll need to do this for all of the path steps.
Then go ahead and add your final items like activation and any celebrations you’d like to have for your path!
Conclusion
A big congrats to you for making it through this blog post! We hope you found it useful!
