Product Features in CPQ are ways to group different options you have for a product.
Yes, that sounds confusing. However, lets break this down into an example and this should make sense.
Let’s say you own a bicycle shop and have a build your own bicycle product.
With this example of a bicycle product, you would have different features including the body, tires, handles, brakes, etc..
Within the product features, you can set different parameters. These include the available quantities and discount schedules.
There are far fewer fields for you to fill out on features than on product options.

Steps
First, it is important that you are in the CPQ app of salesforce. To navigate to this you’ll need to go to the 3×3 in the top left corner under the cloud and either search for cpq or click on the app.
Once you’re there you’ll need to navigate to the products tab.
From the products, tab search and select the product which you want to create the feature for.
After you’ve landed on the product page, go to the related tab.
Then click new feature.
From there you’ll need to enter in the information for the new product feature!
This included the name of the product feature, how many options you can add or their parameters, discount schedule, etc..
From there, hit save! And you are ready to roll!

Please do some research on the purposes of features vs product options. You will defintiley want to set this up correctly because of how much it deals with billing and your customers funds.
Trying to go back and retroactively fix it will be an absolute nightmare.
