How to Create a Multi-Select Picklist Field in Salesforce

multiselect picklist salesforce

The Multi-Select Picklist in salesforce is a really great tool that should be used sparingly when you choose to use it in your salesforce org.

This field allows you to choose more than one option when you have a list of options to choose from.

For example, let’s think of a lead source. You would be able to attribute a leads source to both web and phone, or outreach and email.

However, this field is extremely difficult to report on so first consider using the picklist before the Multi-Select picklist field!

Youtube Video
